We are looking to hire an experienced professional to join our team based in Zurich. As the first hospitality and operations role, you will be responsible for orchestrating and maintaining the highest standards of guest service and property management within our vacation properties across Switzerland. Your expertise in hospitality management will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests and ensuring that all properties are well-maintained to guarantee customer satisfaction.

You'll have the opportunity to:
Coordination of external cleaning and maintenance crews responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of vacation properties.
Implement rigorous quality control measures (including defining SOPs) to ensure that all external services meet our company's standards of service excellence. Also conduct thorough (last-minute) quality checks before guests arrive to ensure all aspects of the property are in pristine condition
Restocking Coordination: Manage and coordinate the restocking of consumables, amenities, and essentials across all vacation properties, maintaining a high level of efficiency and timeliness.
Premium Service Level: Lead the effort to develop and guarantee a premium service level experience for our guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are exceeded.
Guest Feedback: Collect and analyze guest feedback to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Crisis Management: Be prepared to handle any hospitality-related crises promptly and effectively, minimizing disruptions to guests' experiences.
Budget Management: Responsible for managing the hospitality department's budget effectively, optimizing resources while maintaining service excellence.
Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our hospitality services and offerings.
Property Management System (PMS): You will be the Project Manager to further Development Stages of the PMS which is beyoul’s centerpiece
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience in hospitality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in vacation property management or luxury and boutique hospitality.
Strong understanding of vacation property maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards and willingness to get your hands “dirty”
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster a positive team environment and build rapport with guests.
Fluency in English and German; additional Swiss languages are advantageous.
Proficiency in property management software and hospitality-related tools.
Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
You demonstrate an advanced level of proficiency in PMS systems and experience in Hubspot (CRM) is a plus
You're hungry, curious, and keen to grow in a fast-paced, startup environment
Ideally you already have an established network in and are a frequent visitor in Swiss holiday regions
You have a drivers license and are able and willing to visits and manage several properties on a regular basis during weekends
